On Thanksgiving day I woke up knowing I’d have the day alone. The hunters are out in the woods and I was starting to feel pretty lonely. Trying to make a plan for myself today; to shift out of  the “poor me” feeling creeping over me and into one of gratitude and joy. As I was sipping on my morning brew I turned on the TV for some background noise. Gee, I forgot about the Thanksgiving parades! Now my inner child is beginning to take notice. This parade is for the child in us at any age. From the bands, to floats and balloons, to Santa, who could ask for more? So watch out Rockets, I am ready to kick up my heals today – even if metaphorically! Have a bountiful Thanksgiving!
